El Seibo–Miches Hotel and Tourism Association Created
MICHES, EL SEIBO. With the participation of business owners from the eastern region, the El Seibo and Miches Hotel and Tourism Association (Promiches) was created, with the aim of positioning the province and this municipality as a tourist destination.
The new entity is made up of Yamil Isaías, from Development Sicuani; William Phelan, from Proyecto Tropicalia; Paola Mora, from Club Med Miches; José Ramón Astarloa, from Dreams/Secrets Costa Esmeralda; Frank Elías Rainieri, from Ciudad Esmeralda; George A. Nader, from Proyecto Maralda; and José Blanco, from Viva.
Miches; Marcial Suárez, from Desarrollo Punta Hicaco; Jason Sees, from Agroindustrias Carlyle Sees; Giovanni Rainieri, from Corporación Celedín; Alfredo Guzmán, representative of Corporación Rivera del Yásica; Diego Aguayo, from Bahía Esmeralda; and Carl Carlson, from Inversiones Yubaso.
According to the local newspaper El Tiempo, in a working meeting the members of Promiches received the Minister of Tourism, David Collado, who was accompanied by Patricia Mejía, Vice Minister of Destinations; Shaney Peña, Technical Director of Planning and Projects; Sixto Brea, technical director of Ceiztur; Brenda Morales, technical director of Confotur and the general director of Cestur, Brigadier General Pilot, Juan Carlos Torres Robiou.
